Eucalyptus is anti-viral, anti-bacteria, anti-fungal, anti-aging, and anti-inflammatory! Basically, eucalyptus oil or leaves are rad and readily available. Diffusing them in water at 50/50 kills airborne bacteria (an easy life hack in itself). So when colds are on the raise, I take these simple steps:
1. boil water
2. break up eucalyptus leaves in water (sometimes with rosemary, if I have it)
3. let it steep
4. rub some of the water into the top of my yoga mat before practice
